i think i'm weird
2 weeks ago me and kim was slacking in canteenA while waiting for lect to start. i started looking around, and i told kim the ppl in can A look so different from can B(the canteen which i usually went). prob most of them are engineering students. then i started watching the way they walk, the way they move their arms and the way they open and close their mouth while chatting. I burst into laughters. For that particular moment, i thought human beings look weird. why do they walk with 2 legs instead of 4. why do human wear colorful clothes and animal dont. why big double eyelid eyes, sharp features, fair skin, skeletony body, big boobs, smooth hairless complexion etc are being associated with beauty and not ugly. How come we've long extra hair on the heads but not the armpits. Then i tried to imagine other species living the same way as us. wearing clothes made out of leaves and flowers, doin supermarket shopping with their food needly packaged and canned, dying their feelers instead of hair, manicure, pedicure, bonicure, kissing, having sex, watching porn, WWE fighting, boxing gloves.....
couple of months ago while chatting with melv on the phone, i started staring at my toes. visually exploring every single line curve and texture. i burst out laughing. they looked so stupid. mayb our toes are too long, mayb too short, or mayb there's just too many of them. imagine each toe consist of 6 parts instead of 3? okay, imagine we dont have any toes at all. Then i look at my yellowish dirty nails and began to think of their functions other than simply small surfaces for us to decorate or scratching enemies. i yahooed "anatomy of nails" and found this: Nail anatomy - interesting, interesting.
2 years ago i was looking for stuff to photograph for my Alevel proj. happened to be at chinatown where there's an overhead bridge. i stood there with melv, watching the streams of car moving and stopping before the red traffic light and moving off again. i thought they looked stupid. i wanted to laugh. they reminded me of matchboxes - clumsy, rectangular, definite and inflexible. if they can bend their body like rubber? then they reminded me of us when we were in kindergarten. line up in two rows, keep quiet, finger on your lips. and you obediently move off to the playground in straight rows. usually we've problem keeping quiet and i think cars have the same problem too. try staring at the front of the cars while waiting for your bus at the bus-stop. they look like monster - the lights being the eyes and car plate looking like the mouth, threatening to open up and revealing the sharp pointed teeth if you misbehave.
I'm afraid of lifts. when i'm waiting for the lift to "arrive"... i'm afraid some monster might just appear suddenly behind me. on the reflection on the metal frame of the door, i would see a sadako-looking ghost floating behind me. when the door of the lift is about to open, i'm afraid that some guy armed with two knives would be there in the lift waiting and once the door open, the blade of the knife would just pierce through my heart leaving me wet with blood, breathlessly in pain. When stepping into the lift, I half expected the heavy metal doors to crash me flat, shattering my bones into pieces. There's two types of lift. 1) the totally sealed lift - you're totally disconnected from the outside world. You could feel the 6 metal surfaces of the lift moving closer and closer towards you enclosing you til you cant even move an inch and take in a breath. When the door finally opened, you would find yourself entering into a different world. The lift was actually a tunnel that the aliens used to capture earth's creatures. 2) With a small glass panel revealing the outside - you might just see something that you aren't supposed to see. When I'm alone in the lift, I don't feel like I'm alone in the lift at all. There's just someone behind me. Forgive me if I sometimes suggest to take the stairs instead of the lift.
Maybe I've scared myself so much that I appear fearless

Yesterday

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believeIn yesterday
Suddenly
I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, yesterday
Came suddenly
Why she
Had to go I don't know
She wouldn't say
I said
Something wrong now I long
For yesterday
YesterdayLove was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe
In yesterday
Why she
Had to go I don't know
She wouldn't sayI said
Something wrong now I long
For yesterday
YesterdayLove was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe
